Details
One of the most well know and much loved sailing vessels on Moreton Bay for the past 40 years, Colombina is a one-owner-since-new vessel and sadly that one owner has now passed away. She has been sailed extensively along the east coast of Australia and has on many occasions been a formidable racer. In later years she had been sailed rather competitively in the regular Wednesday afternoon pursuit events and rarely missed a race. The last few years though she's laid dormant. In general Colombina looks to be in reasonable condition - nothing that a few week ends and bit of elbow grease can't fix, but she will need new standing rigging, some running rigging needs replacing and all new covers for her soft furnishings. Her engine runs well but it too would benefit from a service.
If you're looking for a centre cockpit, aft cabin cruiser, under 10m and at a bargain price and you're not afraid of a little hard work, this much loved Joe Adams designed, Mottle 33 may well be the boat for you.
Whilst genuine offers will be considered, we will not accept emailed offers. It is highly recommend you conduct an inspection or phone us to discuss. Located at her berth at Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron and can be inspected by contacting Australiawide Boat Sales in Manly, Qld.
